Mina is a petite, shy girl who blossoms into a loving and playful companion once she feels comfortable. She loves to run and would thrive with an active family who enjoys outdoor adventures. Mina is eager to please and highly food-motivated, making her a quick learner with positive reinforcement.

She plays well with other dogs and is always respectful of them. Mina is curious about cats but shows no prey drive, making her a great fit for a home with feline companions. Although she hasn’t been around children in her foster home, her gentle nature suggests she would do well with respectful, older kids.

One of our volunteers will reach out either by phone or email. Please be sure to check your junk file.

Home Check

Our Home Checks are Virtual on Zoom, FaceTime, Messenger..... followed by reference check as well as a vet reference check.

4.
Meet the Pet

Once your application has been approved and we think the dog you have applied for is a good match we will then set up a meet & greet.

Approve Application

Sign Adoption Contract

Pay Fee

Once the adoption contract and fee have been received the dog can go home with the approved adopter.

Backstreet Paws Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer based organization that helps homeless, abandoned street dogs find their forever homes. We are dedicated to providing the best possible care for these animals until they can be placed into a loving home. Our ultimate goal is to reduce the number of dogs that are euthanized each year in shelters due to lack of adoptions. We believe that every dog deserves a chance at a happy life and we are committed to helping as many dogs as possible.
