Introducing the... PATRIOT Kittens born on 7/2/22!
These five adorable kittens... Liberty, Star, Spangled, Banner and Rocket ... were lovingly cared for by their mama, Milady - also available for adoption! She was THE BEST mama who spent 3 months with them - caring for them, playing with them and snuggling, and she was still letting them nurse right up until we separated them so everyone could get altered so they can find their furrever homes! They are 3 months old now as of 10/2/22 and are MORE than ready to find the PURRFECT FAMILY of their very own!
Liberty was the only female in the litter and she made sure Star, Spangled, Banner and Rocket knew who was boss! This group snuggled and played together all the time and in their foster home, they have been exposed to a teenaged cat and a senior one as well, and also 2 dogs... a senior Sheltie and a an adult Terrier - who loves cats. If properly introduced, they should do fine in a home with other pets in their new homes if given time to get to know them and acclimate to the new sights, sounds and smells.
They are extremely playful and loved to climb up and dash from cat tree to cat tree to be king of the castle! Soft sparkly balls and string toys are their favorites! If there are no other pets in the home, we HIGHLY recommend adopting these kittens in pairs! Having grown up together, they are familiar with each other and they'll have a lifelong playmate and snuggle buddy. A single kitten in a new home will be lonely and may get into a bit of mischief as well. 'Until there are none, please adopt one' So they aren't blue, why not adopt two?'
They are all completely vetted... Liberty is spayed and Star, Spangled, Banner and Rocket have all been neutered. They have each had 3 FVRCP vaccinations, their rabies vaccination, they tested NEG. for Feline Leukemia, have been given Revolution - an overall internal/external parasite treatment which kills ear mites, fleas, roundworms, hookworms and heart worms AND they are microchipped! We register the chip for you and their is a free lifetime registration as well!
The adoption fee for Liberty, Spangled and Banner are $100.00 each; the adoption fees for Star and Rocket are $125.00 each. If you adopt a pair of kittens, Last Hope Animal rescue gives you a $25.00 discount! The higher fee for Star and Rocket are due to their fur coats... Star is a rarely found Blue-eyed White kitten and is more than likely part Siamese because his littermate Rocket is definitely a Blue Point Siamese Mix with blue eyes - they more than likely have the same daddy. Do you know each kitten in a litter can have a different daddy??? That's why a litter of kittens can look so different from each other in mixed breeds!
They were fostered in Waterloo, IA and are currently residing in the Waterloo Petsmart Store located at 1506 Flammang Dr. off San Marnan Dr. in the Crossroads Shopping Center area. You can see them in the Adoption Center from 9-9 Monday-Saturday and 10-7 on Sundays; holiday hours vary. You can apply for them online through the Last Hope Animal Rescue website at www.adopthope.org. For an application to be considered, all current animals in the potential adopters home must already be spayed/neutered, be up to date on all required vaccinations and be kept as indoor pets only.
