My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Stella was saved from ACS- the City of San Antonio Animal Care Services euthanasia list. We were happy to bust her out for a new life in Colorado!

Stella just recently entered our care so we are still learning more about her... more to come!

Notes from ACS: "Dog displayed socialability by coming over for treats and affection with a loose wiggly body and wagging tail. Dog was easy to leash and walk outside to a play yard. Dog came over for affection with a wagging tail while in the play yard. Dog was easy to walk and return to kennel."

Stella is now looking to get rescued again- this time by you, her adopter! Once a committed adopter or foster is found, we can schedule Stella on the next transport so she can put San Antonio, Texas in her rearview and head to Denver, Colorado!

Submit Application

Submit foster application if you only wish to foster, and an adoption application if you wish to adopt or foster with the intent of adoption

Meet the Pet

After your app is submitted, we will reach out to have a conversation and schedule a time for you to meet the pet

3.
Approve Application

If you decide to move forward after the meet and greet we will officially approve your application

4.
Take the Pet Home

After your app is approved, we will complete foster or adoption paperwork and you will take the pet home

Additional adoption info

We offer foster-to-adopt period of 2 weeks before finalizing the adoption to ensure that the animal is the right fit for you.
