My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gramps is older with hip dysplasia but that does not keep him down. He loves to be around people and kids running back and forth getting pets from everyone in the room. Does a good job with keeping his kennel clean. He loves to go out for a walk on the leash.

Our adoption fees range from $35-$125, which includes a microchip. If the dog/cat is not vaccinated or spayed/neutered before adoption, you have 30 days to set appointment and return paperwork to WCHS. We also require a copy of your drivers license to attach to your adoption file.

We are 1 of 3 Humane Society AND Animal Control facilities in the state of Illinois. We are a private organization that is contracted with our county and several localities within our county to provide animal control services. We have 2 full time employees and 2 part time employees that care for our furry friends daily.
