Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jiggly Caliente is the young mother of all of the grey cats that were abandoned in a cramped and soaked cage behind a dumpster. She was found in that small cage with her two separate litters, totaling five gorgeous girls- two older sisters and three younger ones. Jiggly is a pretty reserved cat that, at times, can get a bit caliente, but we've made some great progress with her so far. She does best with people she's used to, and when she's feeling comfortable, enjoys a few head rubs. We are sure that if she was provided a stable home with an owner that gives her a lot of patience and attentive care, that she would make a great forever friend. She's estimated to be only around 2 years old. If you'd like to meet this spicy queen, please submit an application at abandonedpetrescue.orgTo meet this adoptable pet, please fill out an adoption application at www.abandonedpetrescue.org and a team member will contact you to schedule an appointment.

More about this shelter
Abandoned Pet Rescue (APR) is one of the largest no-kill animal shelters in South Florida with the mission of rescuing and sheltering abandoned and abused cats and dogs with the goal of finding them new homes. APR's adoption center has about 150 cats and 30 dogs, all of which receive nutritious meals, veterinary care, enrichment and love.
APR, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded in 1996 by a group of volunteers who were trapping, spaying and neutering feral cats and quickly realized the greater need to help abandoned pets and advocate for a no-kill community. APR is funded solely by generous donors and grants.
