Cloud is about 3 months old and weighs about 9 lbs. She has some really long legs and the most adorable spotted ears. She is mostly white but has a large spot on her tail and back leg, along with some other smaller spots on her head and back. She is doing a great job learning to use her pee pads to potty until she is off quarantine and can start practicing going outside! She is doing great at hanging in her puppy pen during the day and we have started crate training for short periods and is doing ok so far. She sleeps quietly in her crate (still with the door open for now) all night long even when people move around the house. She is learning to sit for treats and before we open the pen door. We are also starting to work on the down command and touch for recall. She seems to be very food motivated which is awesome for training. She does not seem to be a far of playing fetch yet, but does enjoy a game of tug. She loves anything she can chew on, stuffed toys, ropes, bully sticks, etc. She is great with treat puzzles. She is a pup that is full of energy but also loves to sit and watch what is happening in the lap of a trusted person.
Dumped on a busy main road in town, it was seen by people nearby so luckily they were able to be rescued and brought to shelter.
All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.
