Hey there! I’m Pearle, and if you’re looking for a spunky, sweet little bunny to brighten your day, then I might just be the one for you! Baxter and I are a bonded pair, so we must be adopted together.
I’m full of energy and love to run around with Baxter. We’re always up for a game of chase - he’ll follow me, I’ll take off, and then I’ll slow down so he can catch up before I take off again! It’s like a never-ending game of tag, and I love it.
I’m also a total sweetheart. I may be playful and full of energy, but I’m equally happy to sit quietly when it’s time for food or a little love. I wait by my dish for breakfast (greens, carrots, cilantro, and sometimes a yummy fruit like apple or banana), and I always go for the cilantro first. I may be quick on my feet, but when it comes to treats, I’m a little more patient. I’ll happily take them from your hand, and I love the Oxbow Simple Rewards (apple & banana flavor, please!).
One thing you’ll notice about me is that I’m changing a little bit as the seasons change. I was fully black when I came to my foster home in the fall, but now I’ve got this beautiful, fluffy white winter coat. You might say I’m a bit of a fashionista! I’m an angora rabbit, so I do need some extra care to keep my fur looking its best. I get regular grooming (sometimes a trim to keep it from getting too long), and while I love the massages, I’m not the biggest fan of sitting still for too long. That’s where Baxter comes in - he’s great about keeping me company while I get groomed.
Baxter and I are very much in sync. We love to redecorate our x-pen, and we spend a lot of time in our tunnel (you’ll always find us in there, either playing or resting). We’re very good about not chewing or getting into trouble when we’re free-roaming, though we do like to keep things tidy and organized. We’re also both great with our litter box, but occasionally we get a little territorial if another bunny is outside of our space. No big deal though, it’s just part of bunny life!
I do well with respectful children. As long as they sit still and don’t move too fast, I’m happy to hang out and enjoy their company. If they get a little too wiggly, I’ll probably try to hop away and find a quieter spot. I haven’t met cats or dogs yet, so I’m not sure how I’d do with them.
Baxter & I have been through a lot already, and having each other makes everything feel a little safer and a lot more fun. So, if you’re looking for a pair of bunnies who are sweet, playful, and ready to share a lot of love with you, we’re your match!

RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.
If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
