My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adoption Bio for Toast

Meet Toast, the adorable 5-month-old mix of Labrador and Terrier, with a heart as warm as his name suggests! This medium-sized pup was part of an accidental litter from Okanogan County, where he and his brother couldn't find homes. Now, he's ready to find his forever family!

About Toast:
Breed: Lab/Terrier Mix
Age: 5 months
Size: Medium
Gender: Male

Personality:
Toast might be a bit shy when you first meet him, but give him a moment to warm up, and you'll discover an outgoing, playful, and super snuggly puppy. He craves companionship and would thrive best in a home where there's another dog to help him feel secure and to play with.

Socialization:
With Dogs: He loves the company of other dogs, which helps him come out of his shell.
With People: Initially reserved, but once comfortable, he's all about cuddles and affection.

Needs:
Companionship: Ideally, Toast should go to a home with another dog to help him adjust and grow confidently.
Environment: A loving, patient family that understands he might need some time to feel at home in a new setting.
Training: Young and eager to learn, Toast will benefit from basic training to help him grow into a well-mannered adult dog.

Ideal Home:
Toast would do wonderfully in a home where there's already a canine friend to show him the ropes. He's perfect for someone looking for a snuggly buddy who also enjoys playtime and adventures. His shyness means he'll need a family willing to give him the time and love to adjust at his own pace.

Why Toast?
If you're looking for a companion that will offer endless snuggles, grow with your family, and bring joy with every wag of his tail, Toast is your guy. His journey from an unexpected beginning to finding his forever home is one we're all rooting for.

More about this rescue

501c3 non-profit l est 2019 l

We have been fostering dogs since early 2019 through various rescues.

What better way to showcase them then in a playful, happy, loving environment with other loving dogs in our community.

Recently we have started changing things as we are looking for our pups to go into foster homes/foster to adopt.

We typically fly dogs in from over capacity shelters in Texas, drive puppers over from Yakima, and still have an amazing relationship with a partnering rescue in Mexico.
