My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*** Bigfoot is in a foster home. ***

Bigfoot: solid black, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 5/1/24, #19434 (polydactyl)

Cats: needs a high-energy playmate
Dogs: probably
Children: yes

BACKGROUND: In an alley behind a business, many similarly-aged kittens were found with no mother. A Good Samaritan contacted The Rescue House to save the babies from danger. When they arrived, they were very sick and needed lots of TLC as they recovered and turned into happy healthy love bugs. Bigfoot is now ready to find his forever people!

PERSONALITY: Can you feel the energy? Bigfoot has oodles! He puts the pedal to the metal as he races, chases, pounces, scrambles, and carries toys from here to there and back again. This full-steam activity can last hours. When a human is spotted, he locks on the target of a lap; if no one is obliging enough to sit down, a shoulder will work, even if it’s in motion about the house. Bigfoot likes to have a day or two to get comfortable with new people and then will start to follow you from room to room so he can stay in your company. He was named for the extra toes on his front mitten-like paws; he must be extra stable with a footprint that large!

COMPATIBILITY: Bigfoot must have a feline companion of a similar energy level (older cats quickly get tired of hijinks and the full-speed lifestyle this boy brings). A feline-knowledgeable dog that accepts his high play level could work out well, and kitty-savvy kids are perfect for play sessions and naptime, even if their laps are smaller.

Bigfoot has so much to share with his humans, and not just his extra toes. Do you have the space in your home and heart for laughter, lap time, and love?
