Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hello, my name is Lechuga, and I am excited to apply for the position of Your Cat. For the past several months, I've been preparing for the position of Your Cat with on-the-job training in not one but two internships! I am eager to make a positive contribution to Your Family, and I have many skills and experiences that I think make me the right candidate for this position.
First, my commitment to playtime is unmatched. There is no ball I won't chase, no toy I won't pounce on. I excel in both solitary and interactive play and have particular interests in feathers and catnip. I have had some interest from pro teams because of my stellar crabwalk form and my incredible speed and agility during zoomies, but in my heart I've always wanted to be Your Cat.
Second, I am an accomplished Neighborhood Watch Cat, logging countless hours at windows. Thanks to my training, I have developed crucial skills in bird identification (That's a bird! That's another bird!) and squirrel deterrence. OK, so the 'deterrence' part is still a work in progress, but I'm hampered by the glass between me and them.
Third, while I am an energetic young guy, I also have a softer side. I enjoy sleeping right next to my people at night and being picked up for little cuddles throughout the day. I will follow you from room to room and don't want to be left out of any of Your Family activities. I love meeting new people, so bring all of your friends home for a visit.
Finally, because of my intense training to join Your Family, I sometimes get a little overexcited and need to be reminded to put away my teeth and claws. I'll need some help from Your Family to redirect my energy to my toys and not my people! While I haven't been around other cats, with proper introductions, I might do well with another young, playful cat who needs a friend.
I am confident that, as Your Cat, I will be the silly, affectionate, energetic spark that Your Family is looking for. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
Salary requirements: Prescription food and treats, lots of toys, affection, patience, windows References available upon request. Please visit https://felinerescue.org/all-cats/ to learn more about me and where I am located!

By adopting a Feline Rescue cat you will be supporting a caring, no-kill shelter and making room for one more homeless cat. We are always looking for good, safe, loving homes for our many cats and kittens. We want to be sure placements are a success for both parties, so before we send our feline friends home with anyone, we ask you to fill out a basic questionnaire. Since we work with cats everyday we will be able to suggest a perfect match to your needs. All of our cats are spayed or neutered before adoption, receive all age-appropriate vaccinations, and high-quality veterinary care and exams. We charge an adoption fee to offset these costs. Adoption Hours: We are open seven days a week for adoptions, but our hours do vary. Please visit our website to see up to date open hours.
