My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Be Mine is full of love and is eager to spend some quiet time in a foster home while they recover from await some lab work. Be Mine is a sweet boy who takes time to warm up to people. He is calm and likes to have his own space, but loves treats and neck scratches when interacting with people.

Reason for Foster: FIV positive; Neutropenia

Foster Time Frame: 1 - 2 weeks

Foster Care Plan: Be Mine is positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). As a result of this disease, he has a low level of a type of white blood cells called neutrophils. Our medical team gave him an injectable antibiotic and plan to recheck his blood work in one week to see if his numbers have improved. Since he is FIV+, it is recommended that he be the only cat in the household.

I am available through our Foster to Adopt program. This program helps pets awaiting or under medical treatment be placed in with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption. If interested in fostering through our Foster to Adopt program, sign up to be a foster online and express your interest in Be Mine. We can schedule a pick up and meet and greet appointment. https://www.operationkindness.org/foster/
