My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dumbledore is looking for a loving foster home to snuggle up in while he is recovering.

Foster Reason: Lymph Node Swelling & FELV+

Foster Time Frame: 2 Weeks
(The foster time frame could be longer depending on future medical results and needs.)

Foster Care Plan: Dumbledore is awaiting rest results to determine the cause of his lymph node swelling. Once we receive these test results we will have a better idea of his foster care needs moving forward.
FeLV+ (Feline Leukemia Virus) is a condition that can affect a cat`s lifespan, but many cats with this virus can still live happy and healthy lives for a long time. While FeLV+ is not easily transmitted to humans, it can be spread among cats through saliva, urine, feces, and blood. For this reason, we recommend that FeLV+ cats be the only cat in a household or live with other FeLV+ cats.

Foster to Adopt: Dumbledore is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption.
