My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cody is a 4 year old Yorkiepoo. I’ve had him for about a year and a half. His previous owner sold him to me because their young daughter didn’t like him.

Cody is a sweet boy when he’s comfortable. He likes cuddles, but also knows his limit and keeps his distance when he needs some space. He loves to run around and play.

He has separation anxiety and barks/whimpers when you leave the house. I live in an apartment and he barks loudly when he hears neighbors. He is house-trained, but if you leave him unsupervised (even if you walked him before leaving) he may pee on the floor.

With grooming, Cody does okay. He HATES getting his nails trimmed & the vet. He will scream, squirm, bite, whatever it takes to make it stop. During walks, he sometimes barks at strangers. He does okay with other dogs.

I don’t have the time to properly take care of him. I’m a teacher who’s at school all day and because he barks @ neighbors & pees in the house, he’s in his cage for a lot of the day.
