Born August 2024, Kelly is one of our Charlie’s Angel’s puppies. She and her sisters were found young, abandoned and full of fleas, ticks and hungry, near our sanctuary in Puerto Vallarta. They are beautiful AND smart. Kelly and her sisters have been a hit with tourists at the Saturday market - loving the cuddles and admiration of strangers. She is good with people, dogs and even cats. She is full of personality and loves a good rough and tumble play with her siblings and friends. She is higher energy, likes her walks and prefers not to be carried around like a baby. Kelly is healthy, and happy and ready to travel to a family all her own! We expect her to grow to 30-35 lbs. We screen all applications and in most cases require a home check prior to placement. An approved adoption application must be on file before meetings are set up, as our dogs are in foster homes. We charge a $550 USD adoption fee. We routinely follow up with a visit or at least a phone call after placement. We solicit follow up photos and publish adoptions in our weekly newsletter.

More about this rescue

PVCA Animal Rescue is the sister organization of the SPCA Puerto Vallarta in Mexico. We facilitate the transportation and adoption of rescue dogs into loving forever homes. PVCA is a network of volunteers, transporters, and foster homes. The mission of SPCA de PV is to help fund and promote sterilization, adoption and healthcare efforts for companion animals in the Puerto Vallarta area, with the goal of eliminating the euthanasia of healthy and adoptable animals. SPCA de PV is not supported by the government, corporations, foundations or businesses. The dogs & cats of Mexico are too often found living on the streets after being discarded and/or extremely abused. We devote ourselves to their physical and emotional rehabilitation and invite everyone to come and interact with the animals at our sanctuary. Compassion Knows No Boundaries!
