My name is Ronald Weasley and I'm an almost 2-year-old Ginger Chihuahua who will cast a magical spell on you. I am adorably awkward and can be a pesky little brother who sometimes annoys my foster brothers.
I'm a spunky cuddler who loves to sit on your lap but also enjoys time to myself to chew my favorite toys or a yummy bone. Chewing is a passion of mine so be sure to have appropriate toys and or bones available or I'll find other things to chew on. Fair warning here.
For the past 5 months I've eaten a delicious, healthy raw food diet that gives me strength and energy to thrive, grow, and be my best. I get super excited when my foster mommy serves my food. Seriously if you could taste this stuff, you would understand. I've heard rumors that some dogs aren't as lucky and end up eating dry gross kibble. Please don't make me eat that.
If you need love and laughter just look at my sweet face. I'm a tiny clown who's also part monkey and part cat. My agility knows no bounds. I can be shy but I can't resist your love and attention for very long.
My butt is constantly wiggling and I can't control my licker but I promise to put it to good use with lots of kisses. I know how to sit and come on command. When I'm tired, I happily head to my own personal "house" and put myself to bed no later than 10:00 p.m. you won't hear another peep from me all night. My beauty sleep is very important.

**If you are unable to pay the adoption fee ($375 and up), we are unable to place a dog in your care. Being unable to meet the financial obligations of pet care (recurrent or emergent) is one of many reasons why so many of these pets end up in rescue. It's not lack of love.**
We require an adoption application, and then we will check references. We also check with vets. If the person is not LOCAL then we will partner with a local animal control to complete a home visit.

In other words, in the event that they can not stay in their adoptive home, they are not to be surrendered to another individual or rescue.

Chihuahua Rescue Indiana Inc. is a non profit, all volunteer rescue working with Chihuahuas and Chihuahua mixes. The pets are housed in individual volunteer foster homes, not kennels or shelters until they are adopted permanently. We get to know our animals and therefore can tell the potential adopter what the traits of the animal are and what home would be the best for the pet. We are dedicated to the adoption, education, rescue and transportation of the Chihuahua breed. We believe that every Chihuahua deserves a loving home.
