Jack is getting lots and lots of apps, due to his story on the LVL news. Please check out our other deserving dogs too!!
Meet Jack Frost! (Jack for short) We are told he is about 1 year old and a Doodle Mix (we believe a GoldenDoodle) and weighs about 63ish lbs.
Poor Jack the Doodle was found with his fur frozen to the snow in a Lowe’s parking lot. A Good Samaritan found him and took him to Louisville Metro Animal Services so that he could hopefully be reunited with his family. Unfortunately they never came for Jack and he was released to GRRAND so that we could found him a home where he will be loved and well taken care of.
Here is what his foster mom has to say…
"Jack is very sweet and starting to come out of his shell. He is recovering from his neuter so we are keeping him separate from our dogs until he’s had a chance to heal. All the dogs have met through the gate and you can tell Jack is really looking forward to having some friends to play with very soon. He has met our cat and he adores her and is quite respectful of her boundaries. He does sit and lay on command for me and is not a huge tugger on the leash although he has some room to improve on leash walking. He appears to be house trained and has had no accidents in the house. Given the last few chaotic weeks of his life I’d say this is a very good sign."
Although he is not quite ready for adoption yet we wanted to introduce you to this sweet guy. The vets believe he is just a year old and he is very healthy given how he was found."
