Dog's Name: Babe Inky (INK0125SOPMD)
Estimated Breed: Lab/Retriever mix
Approximate Age: DOB 11/10/2024
Approximate Weight: 15 LBS
Currently Living at: Foster
Adoption Fee: $500
DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Babe Inky! Inky and his three siblings (Babe Cinder, Babe Onyx and Babe Oreo) came to us all the way from a rural part of Georgia. Inky has landed a nice foster home, but what he really wants is to find a safe and loving forever home. Could that be with you? Inky is your typical sweet and playful puppy. He can be a little shy at first but warms up quickly. He does amazing with other dogs. Smart and eager to please, Inky will make a wonderful best friend for many years to come. At his young age, Inky is in his prime for training and socialization. Make the world of difference to this very deserving boy, submit an application today!
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
