This helps Paws in Middle Georgia Animal Rescue with pet care costs.
Brody.
He likely doesn't need introducing. This boy has suffered some of the most horrific things an animal can endure. Brody is the lone survivor of what's locally known as the Christmas Day massacre where his 8 siblings were brutally killed by a monster in the community.
Brody was completely shut down for almost a week. With the help of a patient foster, he's learning to trust people again. He seems to be ok with dogs as well.
He is looking for a home that will love him through the rest of his recovery. He is not housetrained. Surprisingly, he is OK with being crated. He would likely benefit from a dogmate that can reassure him, show him house manners, play with him. Basically, teach him to dog...
Brody has started going outside (he was afraid to at first). He's also started playing with toys. He accomplished his first zoomies last week.
After everything this kid has been through, we are going to be more selective on his placement because he is not the average pup. If you think you can offer him not just the furever home he deserves, but the home he needs - please submit your applications for review.
