My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This giant marshmallow of a dog is friendly to people, and will seek human attention. Milly has never been around kids. She has very low drive. She will run after a toy, but does not pick it up and looses interest as soon as it stops moving. Likes food, but not crazy for it. She was found running loose in Mexico. Milly does not know commands in English, but it is possible she was trained in Spanish. She has been kept out in yard so no knowledge of housetraining. Right now she does not like to go into kennel, but once in is fine in the kennel.

After a successful Home Visit the applicant is eligible to review available dogs and talk to state coordinators about making a good match.

All MAD dogs are UTD and spayed or neutered. An adoption fee will apply to any dog that is adopted after completing the above process.

Mission Statemet
Malinois and Dutch Shepherd Rescue, Inc. (MAD) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which is dedicated to rescuing Belgian Malinois and Dutch Shepherds who have found themselves without a home (surrendered, discarded, abused, neglected or impounded). MAD does not have a physical location and is operated by compassionate, like-minded professionals who volunteer their time and resources to help save and care for the Malinois and Dutch Shepherds. All animals that are accepted by MAD are spayed or neutered, given medical attention and rehabilitation, as needed, and placed with foster homes until their health and evaluations are completed and they are ready to be placed in their loving permanent homes.
