Hi, my name is Adkins, and I’ve been waiting here at the Humane Society for over a year and a half. I’ve watched so many dogs come and go, their tails wagging as they leave for their new homes, while I stay behind, still hoping for my forever family to find me. I’m a little over 40 pounds—a small-medium dog with a big heart, just waiting to be loved.
I get along really well with other dogs and have made lots of friends here. I’ve shared my kennel with different buddies, and we always have a great time. I love going for walks, exploring new scents, and just taking in the world around me. But most of all, I’m pretty chill. I’m past that bouncy puppy phase, and I really just want a quiet, cozy home to call my own.
