Petunia is as sweet as they come, and we just know her perfect forever home is out there waiting! This stunning girl came to us as a stray with her sister, Violet. Both were in rough shape, but Petunia had it especially tough. Her poor skin was thick, itchy, and inflamed from months of neglect caused by severe flea dermatitis.

Thankfully, with some soothing baths, medication, and a warm, clean space to recover, Petunia is feeling so much better. While her journey isn’t over, and it’ll take time for her beautiful grey fur to fully grow back, her sweet spirit shines brighter than ever.

Petunia has been an absolute darling with our staff—easy to handle, gentle, and loving. She doesn’t mind our office cats and seems curious about making friends with the other shelter dogs. She’s still working on her basic manners and house-training, but this smart girl is treat- and praise-motivated, so we’re confident she’ll learn quickly with a little guidance.
