Mochi was found as a stray and was and indoor/outdoor cat with her feeder for two years. Her previous owner could pet her with no issues but he moved and could not keep her. Mochi has not been happy at the shelter in a crate and would likely warm up much more quickly in a home where she could move around the home, allowing attention on her own terms.She would do best with a patient, experienced cat owner who would give her time to build trust and becoem comfortable.This cat is waiting for it's Forever Home!

Kitten Policy: It is important to understand that the socialization of kittens with other animals as playmates is important for their development. Therefore, CT Cat Connection has a policy that kittens and teenagers up to 12 months of age are adopted in pairs unless there is another animal in the household as a playmate and companion.
Due to demand, we cannot place cats or kittens on hold. Your visit to the shelter is to meet any cat or kitten available for adoption at the time of visit.

We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to the welfare of animals with a 'No-Kill' policy. Our efforts are focused primarily on finding loving homes for the many cats that are strays, abused, abandoned, surrendered or impounded. All animals are given medical attention, spay/neutered and vaccinated before placement.
