My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dexter was dumped and wandering around for approx 4 days. He is approx 1-2 yrs old and is underweight at 52 lbs. He is quiet for a Treeing Walker Coonhound. He rarely howls or barks. He is halfway housebroken. He has never pooped in the house but likes to mark. We keep a male belly band on him and this has helped tremendously.

He loves our 5 month old male Black Lab and loves our neighbors kids and their female Golden doodle. He seemed to be ok with our cat at first, but he has a high prey drive for cats and we cant keep him because of this.

He can’t be in a home with cats. We would love to keep him, he is sweet, and playful, crate trained, and sleeps with us in our bed at night.

He is neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative and microchipped. He loves people, kids and other dogs. We would love for him to go to a loving home and a forever home. We wished that was our home, but because of his aggression toward our cat,we can’t keep him.
