My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ross was born around June 24, 2025 and is one of the gentlest, goofiest, butt wiggling puppies ever.

Him and his siblings were named after the show “Friends” – We still have Rachel and Chandler available for adoption!

Ross has the most beautiful, soulful eyes.

As of 1/19, he weighs approximately 33 lbs and we don’t expect him to get much bigger.

He is a medium-active level but is so good at entertaining himself. He loves other dogs but doesn’t have a strong need to be around them (he would be fine without another dog in the home).

Ross has been around cats since he was a small puppy and doesn’t bother them at all.

He is very attention motivated. He would much rather have you pet him as an award than given a treat as an award. Ross is beyond loyal. He will always be next to you as your best friend, entertainer and companion. When he walks beside you, which he always does, and you stop, he will lean against your leg to let you know he is there.

Ross is very smart and if you ask him, he will give you a hug. With little training, I’m sure he can learn tons of tricks quite easily. He is SO eager to please his humans.

This boy is a VERY happy dog (as you can see by his pictures!). There’s never a sad moment with him. He is loppy, almost like he doesn’t his size – similar to a newborn giraffe. So goofy!

He thinks he’s a lap dog, He will climb right into your lap and flop down, hoping you don’t notice he’s a little big for normal size laps.

The foster describes Ross as the bestest boy. He would do great with a family or individual who wants a clingier and 100% loyal dog. Ross would do WONDERFUL with children and would also be their best friend.

He loves his toys and would love a toy chest one day.

If you’re looking for the perfect medium sized dog – Please consider Ross.

Ross will be fixed, current on vaccinations, current on preventions, current on dewormer, microchipped and issued a health certificate from a veterinarian giving him a clean bill of health prior to adoption.

Additional adoption info

Almost all of our animals are located in south Texas and available for transport once adopted. 90% of our animals are adopted prior to transport. There are times where we will have animals located in foster in the northeast and the animals' profiles will indicate at the top if that is the case.

More about this rescue

We are an animal rescue whose mission is to help homeless, stray, abandoned and neglected animals in South Texas area. We adopt in the northeast area as there are more laws and higher quality of life for animals up there than in Texas, where our shelters are euthanizing daily for room.
