My name is Louie!

Louie is a 3-yr old male lab mix, originally from the streets of Mexico. He is microchipped, neutered, and up to date on his shots. Louie is a sweet, gentle dog who loves to snuggle up next to his humans. He'd love being in a home where his people are home most of the day, because he likes settling in the room that his humans are in. He does great with kids of all ages. Louie is eager to please and loves learning, he's also a talker! Unfortunately, Louie tore his CCL on a hike in October of 2023, (ACL in human bodies) and had surgery as a result. He does great on leashed walks with occasional off-leash times, but if he runs too hard or hikes too long, he gets sore.
If you're looking for a snuggle buddy to stroll around the neighborhood with, Louie is your dog! He has so much love to give.
I am a therapist and intended for Louie to become part of my practice as a therapy dog.  Unfortunately, we're rehoming Louie because he alert barks more than will work in an office setting.
