Fluffy Keekaroo is a 2 year old Keeshond who weighs about 35 pounds. All her fluff is doing her some good because she is loving spending time outside this cold Illinois winter! Keekaroo is learning how to be a dog with the help of her foster family, but it will take some time for her full personality to bloom. She has been friendly with dogs she's met and we think she'd be fine with cats, too. She is shy with new people, but with time, she should warm up. She's getting used to walking on leash doing her business outside, and she hasn't quite figured out dog beds or toys yet! We are sure that with time, she will come to realize all the good things in life :)
Keekaroo is looking for a patient and nurturing family who will give her time to trust and accept their love. She'd love to have access to a pup friend who can help guide her along the way. She's a heavy shedding dog so her family will need to be prepared to do some vacuuming! Her supermodel looks make up for the fur tumbleweeds, we promise. She is a gentle and sweet pup who deserves nothing but the best from here on out. We are excited to help her find her forever so let us know if you think you're the right fit!
