This gorgeous young boy is Kenobi, and he is eagerly screening applications for his furever home in time for the fun and activities in the nicer weather! Kenobi came into rescue after being neglected in his prior home, but he has a heart of gold and does not hold a grudge. In fact, Kenobi is the pyrfect gentleman when meeting new people, and how can you pawssibly say no to that face? Kenobi is as sweet as can be and he simply LOVES to cuddle with you. Kenobi enjoys routines, and he especially cherishes his regular walks when he could sniff his little heart out and check out what is going on in the neighborhood. When the weather is nicer, Kenobi can often be found playing in the water in the kiddie pool - we can only imagine how much he would love it when he can really play in the water in the summer! He would love a 6-foot fenced yard, maybe a female canine companion or a kitty friend (but he could also be an only dog), and humans who have large-breed experience. This good boy kennels well, is leash-trained, and knows “sit.” He’s excited to learn more from his new family, and hopes they will reward him with chicken and cheese! Kenobi has so much pawtential in him, he is just waiting for the pyrfect family to guide him to become the bestest companion he can be. We are pawsitive that a healthy dosage of love and affection will help this young boy shine!

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are:âڑ) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
