My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Abalone was apart of a litter of 12 that was rescued from the streets of Compton. We split the litter of puppies with another rescue. We named these babies after gems because they were diamonds in the Rough quite literally! Abalone is the sweetest baby! She has a unique pattern on her coat! She has a helmet head LOL!!! Abalone is sweet and snuggly, playful and can be a couch potato as well! We do not know who the parents are so we do not know the breed. We use our best judgements and with the help of our veterinarian to determine the breed and ages of our Mutts. If interested in meeting this sweet baby please complete the adoption application and someone will contact you within 48 hours if approved to schedule a meet and greet!

We are a 501c3 organization of dedicated volunteers who want to make a difference in the lives of lost, abandoned, and homeless dogs.

One Mutt at a Time, we will help eradicate the needless euthanasia of shelter animals.

We are a foster based rescue. Our dogs get to know what family life is like before they become yours!!!

Our dogs come to you vetted, vaccines UTD, spay/neuter, microchipped and full of love.

We also have a Senior to Senior Program where we place senior dogs with Senior humans, that other rescues might overlook. If you're a senior and looking for some companionship, please get in touch with us.
