My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there, I'm Dixie.💚🐾

I'm a bit shy at first, but once I warm up to you, I'm as sweet as can be. I love to play, but I'm also perfectly content to just snuggle up and enjoy a quiet day. I'm a gentle soul, always eager to make friends. I'm not too fond of children, they make me a bit nervous. I've never been around cats, so I can't say much about that. But I promise, I'm a mellow and friendly companion. I might be shy, but once you get to know me, you'll see just how loving I can be. I'm looking for a forever home where I can share all the love I have to give. So, why should you adopt me? Because every home needs a loyal friend, and I promise to be just that. I may be a bit shy, but I have a heart full of love to give. I promise, you won't regret adopting me.

I am going home on our Foster to adopt program! This means I would go home the same day as our meet and greet but need to be returned on Jan 29 to be Spayed on Jan 30 - We do ask that my forever family lives local to the center (within an hour) so I can make these very important date!

I don't need much, just a loving home. Adopting me would mean a loyal friend for life, a quiet companion who'll always be there. If you are interested in me, please email orangeville@ontariospca.ca and include your phone number so we can better contact you.

I can't wait to come home to you! 💙

- Dixie 💚🐾
