My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

precious baby wants to know home

Just look into the eyes of beautiful Cleo!  This kitten is spunky, affectionate, and playful, with a zest for life.  She loves people, and she does well with other cats.  Cleo enjoys the shelter environment, but she would really love a chance to see what a home is like--to stare at birds at the windowsill, to follow you around, to enjoy snuggling up to you, and all the niceties of a real family!  Most cats need a small adjustment period, but Cleo is not at all shy and would likely settle in quickly.  She is very young and adaptable.

Cleo does test positive for FIV.  This condition simply means a lowered immune system, and she picked it up from her mother in utero.  Cats with FIV do not need any special medication (though inexpensive lysine supplements are a good idea); they just need quality food, regular wellness care, and a safe indoor life, like any Catsnap cat.  Cats with FIV can live just as long as cats without, and Cleo has made it clear that she intends to make the most of her life!  Could you make room for this precious girl in *your* life?

Thank you for your interest in a CATsNAP cat or kitten!

If you would like to meet a cat, please complete the online application located on our website catsnap.org.

We do not have a walk-in facility; most of our cats are in foster homes.  For this reason, we require an approved application on file before we set up a meet and greet.

Completing an online application does not obligate you to adopt! We care deeply about our cats and want the best match for all involved.

All CATsNAP cats and kittens are:
  • Vaccination against Panleukopenia (Distemper), Rhinotracheitis, and Calicivirus
  • Vaccination against Rabies (if animal is over 4 months of age)
  • Testing for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV)
  • Initial de-worming, flea, and ear mite treatment
  • Sterilization of the animal prior to adoption; no exceptions
  • Micro-chipping as mandated by state law
