Meet Simone, the shy but sweet cat with a heart of gold. While she may take her time warming up to new people, once she feels comfortable, she’s incredibly loving and enjoys being gently petted. Simone is a mellow, laid-back cat who loves her quiet naps and can often be found curled up in a cozy spot, soaking up the peace and quiet. She’s playful when the mood strikes, especially when toys are involved, and she’s also a fan of tasty treats. Simone is good with other cats and easily adapts to a calm, peaceful environment. Litter box trained and with a soft, sweet demeanor, Simone is looking for a patient and loving home where she can relax and build a bond at her own pace. Once you earn her trust, she’ll be your loyal and affectionate companion.

-Have a U.S. government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license or state ID
-Verify that you are allowed to have a pet of the breed and size where you currently live
-Be able to provide necessary medical treatment, training, and proper care for your pet

Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League is a limited-admission humane society and provides services to over 34,000 cats, dogs, puppies, and kittens each year. Operating continuously since 1925, we have been positively impacting animal welfare and addressing overpopulation in Palm Beach County through a variety of services.

Our Vision is to create a community where 100% of the adoptable animals find loving homes and no animals will be euthanized because of pet overpopulation.

Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, Humane Society of the Palm Beaches, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and does not receive funding from city, county, state, or federal government, or local organizations with similar names. We rely solely on the generosity of individuals, foundations, and corporations to provide quality programs and services to the community. Your donations directly support the services and programs in place to help animals in need.
