Meet Rocky Rainier, an incredibly sweet 1.5-year-old French Bulldog who thrives on being close to his people. Whether he's snuggling on the couch, riding in the car, or sitting by the dinner table, Rocky is always by your side.

Rocky is the epitome of a classic Frenchie, complete with endearing snores, grunts, and quirky habits. He has a soft spot for his toys and treats, especially his chewy bones. He enjoys short walks and handles both his collar and harness like a pro. Plus, Rocky has a flair for fashion and loves dressing up in his collection of fun outfits.

A true social butterfly, Rocky gets along splendidly with dogs of all sizes and adores his foster brothers. He pays no attention to cats and loves playing with kids. Strangers, watch out-Rocky is ready to shower you with affection and plenty of licks!

Rocky has a seizure disorder that is well-managed with daily medication. Since coming into our care, he hasn't experienced a single seizure. He also had a broken back right leg as a puppy, so he should avoid jumping from high places like beds. However, he moves effortlessly onto the couch and car and is full of energy and showing no signs of slowing down.

With no food allergies, Rocky is an enthusiastic eater, so his meals should be given in controlled portions in the morning and evening. He's also a big fan of treats!

Rocky is kennel trained, entering and exiting on command, with a comfortable kennel stay of 3-5 hours during the day and overnight. He's quiet, with no barking or whining, though he might have an accident if left too long. He is fully potty trained and familiar with basic commands like sit and stay, and has great potential for further training.

If you're ready for snotty snuggles, heavy-breathing kisses, and a lifelong best friend, Rocky Rainier is the perfect companion. He will love you unconditionally and fill your home with endless joy.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees are based on the breed, health, age, and behavioral status of each dog. All dogs are microchipped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, flea/worm treated and have had a wellness exam before becoming adoptable. If you are interested in adopting a BHNW dog, please fill out the online application. If you are matched to the dog you are interested in or another dog in our program, you will be contacted by the foster family. Prior to adopting, there is a mandatory home evaluation to ensure your home and family are ready for that dog. We require a contract for all adoptions and there is a two-week trial to ensure a good match. If for any reason you can no longer care for the dog you adopted from us, that dog must be returned to our program.
