My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oh, so you've been waiting forever for that perfect fluffy Pyrabear to add to your life? Well, get ready to have your heart explode because Sawyer is here! Fluffier than a cloud, growing at a rate that could rival a beanstalk, and with that laid-back, lovable temperament that we all pretend not to be obsessed with. Seriously, if you don't want to be in puppy heaven, don't look at him... but if you do, get ready for all the snuggles and fur tumbleweeds!

Meet Sawyer, the 4-month-old Great Pyrenees from our legendary Fourth Wing Litter, who somehow ended up abandoned with his siblings. But don’t worry, this little fluffball is clearly on a mission to be your new obsession. He's already potty trained, yes, you read that correctly, potty trained, and kennel trained. Seriously, we’re all a little suspicious about how he’s managed to bypass the usual puppy chaos—it's like he missed the memo about acting like a normal, mischievous pup. So, while you may be skipping over the typical puppy disasters, don’t think you’re getting off scot-free. Sawyer is curious (aka, a master of finding the most inconvenient items to investigate), so if you’ve got things lying around, consider them his personal puzzle to solve. So, do yourself (and Sawyer) a favor—keep your things put away and make sure to scatter a ton of toys around. Trust us, it’ll save you from the “Why did I leave this here?” moments later. 😉

Looking for a dog who’s ready to be your trusty sidekick? Sawyer’s your guy. His sweet, laid-back personality will win over anyone he meets... that is, if they aren’t scared of a giant polar bear barreling toward them. Honestly, if I see a big fluffy ball of love, I’m running straight for it—but I get it, some people might see his size and wonder if they should start scouting escape routes. But, hey, Sawyer’s perfectly content just hanging at home with his people. All he really needs is food, frequent compliments on his handsomeness, and your lap—because no matter how big he gets, it’s still his personal cuddle spot. Now, Sawyer’s not exactly a leash expert yet, but give him time. I mean, what did you expect from a Pyr pup? He’s still figuring out why he’s supposed to walk in a straight line instead of, you know, doing his own thing. He loves meeting new people and while he’s enthusiastic about greeting them, he’s generally calm and well-mannered. As for the occasional 4-wheeled monster on the road? Well, that’s a bit new to him, but don’t worry—he’ll figure it out. And yes, this may involve a few moments where you’ll have to physically hoist his big ol' caboose into the car, possibly while considering upgrading to a larger vehicle. 😉Overall, Sawyer’s a happy-go-lucky pup who just matches the vibe of his family. He’s all in for some playtime with the other dogs, but once that’s over, he’s content to nap or play with his toys... just don’t even think about playing fetch with him. He’s more of a “watching you run after the ball” kind of guy—his motto is, “I’ll just wait here, you got this!”

Ready to meet Sawyer and have your life turned into a never-ending cuddle fest with a giant fluffball? Well, don’t just sit there—fill out an adoption app so we can send it straight to his foster family. He’s practically waiting by the door, but... we can’t send him to you until you do your part (we know, paperwork—sigh). And just a heads up, you’ll need to pick him up in Sand Springs, OK. And yes you’ll definitely need to embrace the whole “small-town charm” thing, which means waving at strangers even though you have no idea who they are. But hey, it’s all part of the package!
