My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

When Riley was surrendered, we were told she had never barked. Not once. She was the quiet type—gentle, reserved, soft as a whisper.

Now, in the shelter, she barks all day, every day. Not because she’s found her voice, but because she’s overwhelmed. The constant noise, the unfamiliar faces, the stress of waiting—it’s wearing her down. Kennel life isn’t for her. She needs a home, a safe place where she can finally exhale.

Beneath the stress, Riley is pure grace. She sits beautifully, shakes your hand with the gentlest touch, and carries herself with a quiet elegance that’s rare in a big dog. She’s dainty in spirit, but her heart is huge.

She’s not thriving here—but she could be thriving with you. Let’s get Riley home.
