[Scene opens with soft, heartwarming music playing. A cozy living room, sunlight streaming through the window. The camera pans to a small, sleek kitten with the biggest, most soulful eyes. It’s Bobbie.]
Narrator (warm, soothing voice):
In a world where love is unconditional, one little kitten is about to change everything... Meet Bobbie.
[Cut to Bobbie snuggling with her four tiny kittens. They purr and nuzzle against her.]
Narrator:
With eyes that could melt anyone’s heart and a soul as gentle as a whisper, Bobbie is not just any mother. She’s a superhero in disguise.
[Scene shifts to Bobbie curling up with her kittens, wrapping her tail around them protectively.]
Narrator:
But Bobbie’s journey doesn’t stop here. She’s a loving, nurturing mama... and now, she’s ready to find her forever home.
[Bobbie gazes up with those massive eyes, as if waiting for her perfect person.]
Narrator:
She’s a cuddle expert, a snuggle queen, and a best friend waiting to be discovered. Bobbie’s heart is as big as her eyes, and she’s ready to share it with someone who will give her the love she truly deserves.
[Cut to a shot of Bobbie playfully batting at a toy, then curling up next to a human hand, purring happily.]
Narrator:
Will you be the one to make her dreams come true?
[Scene fades to a shot of Bobbie and her kittens, all snuggled together, as the screen text reads: “Adopt Bobbie. She’s waiting for you.”]
Narrator (softly):
Bobbie... her love is only just beginning. Will you be there to catch it?
[The music swells as the screen fades to black, leaving a warm, lingering sense of hope.]
Bobbie would do best being adopted with one of her kittens and go to a house with no other cats. While her foster mom does have a dog Bobbie has been keeping her distance from the dog. She has been spayed, is current on vaccines, tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, and has been microchipped. The vet estimated she was born in December 2023.

At the adoption fairs, if you meet a kitten or cat that you want to adopt, you will be asked to complete an application and contract and leave a check for the adoption fee ($120 for an adult or $145 for un-neutered kitten of which $50 is a deposit that is refunded after you provide 4Paws proof of sterilization). We ask that you pay the adoption fee up front at the fairs in order to “put a hold” on the cat until your application is processed. If your application is not approved, your check is returned to you.
Neither cats nor kittens are sent to their new homes on the day of the fair. It usually takes 4-5 days to process the application before the cat can go to his or her adoptive home. Pre-approval is an option, though. To accelerate the adoption process, you can fax a completed application and contract to us at 703-560-9795 a few days before the fair. Adoption Applications are available on this website.

Adoption fairs are held once or twice a month at various PETCO stores in Northern Virginia. The adoption fairs are usually held on Saturday’s from 1:00 to 5:00. Between 30 and 60 cats and kittens are shown for adoption at each fair—with the larger fairs generally occurring April through October.
While they are waiting to find permanent loving homes, our cats temporarily live in foster homes. The foster families bring the cats and kittens to the adoption fairs to be seen by potential adopters. Applicants have the opportunity to handle the cats and in some cases, meet the foster parents who can provide additional insight into a cat’s habits and personality.
