My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Miss Lilly! Lilly is an adorably sweet and silly 1 year old mixed breed pup who is looking for adventure! This beautiful girl was surrendered to our shelter when her family could no longer care for her. She is a bit shy and can take a few minutes to warm up but once she knows you are there to play, she is all yours! Lilly should do well in a home with another friendly pup as well as kids and possibly confident cats.
Miss Lilly is learning how to walk on leash and can be a bit of a door dasher in her kennel so we recommend that her new owner keep her on leash until she can gain confidence and trust before letting her off leash. This pretty girl is going to be a wonderful companion, don`t miss out on your chance to meet her!

Eagle County Animal Shelter and Services handles all of the animal control and animal shelter services for Eagle County. We are a small shelter and are considered socially conscious, which means we are "no-kill" for space. We are always looking for volunteers, foster homes, and item donations. If you are interested in donating to the shelter we have a wish list available that includes lots of items that we use everyday here at our shelter to benefit the dogs and cats directly. Please call us at 970-328-DOGS if you are interested in volunteering. We love to have people come in to socialize our cats and walk and socialize the dogs. Come see us!!
