Hi there! My name is Chico, and I’m a spirited young guy under 2 years old. I weigh around 35 to 40 lbs and I’m a Blue/Silver/Salt & Pepper Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler. I’m known for my calm and gentle nature, and I’m really good on the leash, making walks a breeze. Getting in and out of my kennel is easy for me too! You might be surprised at how well-behaved I am, and I can’t wait to show you just how wonderful I can be. I share a special bond with my best friend Nina, and I hope we can find a loving home together. We truly love each other and support one another, making us a perfect pair! $25.00 ($5.00 Seniors 60 and over) for animals that have been sterilized prior to being brought in

We host adoption events on the 2nd Saturdays of the month at PetSmart in Rowlett from 12pm - 3pm. Petsmart is located at 5709 Liberty Grove Rd Rowlett, TX 75089.

FRAs wishes to promote pet-friendly environments, services, and activities in Rowlett and surrounding communities.

Friends of Rowlett Animals (FRAs) is an all-volunteer 501 (c) (3) Texas organization founded in 2004. FRAs is working to improve communication between the City of Rowlett Animal Services and the community. By partnering with our local animal shelters, networking with animal rescue groups, utilizing community resources and social media, as well as conducting off site adoption events and fund raisers, we are able to help increase animal adoptions.
