My name is Ruby!

Meet Ruby! Ruby is a 3 year old Shepherd Mix who is happy, playful, and a great dog for anyone looking to adopt. Ruby is social and would be a great solo or second dog for any family. She is 65 pounds, strong, and loves attention (she loves giving kisses to everyone). Ruby likes to run so a big yard is a plus. She is house and crate trained (has slept in the crate every night for two years), and knows basic commands. Like most shepherds, she is very protective of her home (barks at others through our fence), but once guests are inside she is as cuddly as can be. Current owners aren't able to dedicate enough time for Ruby at the moment, unfortunately. While she has lots of energy and likes to play, she spends most of her time lying around the house. She is great with people and kids (current owners have a 4yo and an infant). Ruby is a bit reactive on the leash and will likely need more dedicated training in this area.
