Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Parker!
Parker is an adorable 3 month old, 15-lb Aussie mix who loves cuddling, playing with toys, and taking naps.
He is a very curious little pup, eager to sniff around and explore all areas of his foster’s apartment. Parker eagerly wags his tail and moves towards his foster when she comes to pet him. He spends a lot of the day napping, but has bursts of playful energy throughout the day.
Parker is fitting in very well as a NYC pup, one of his favorite toys is a bagel toy. He is still adjusting to the sounds of the city, but is improving his leash skills each day and growing more confident on walks through Brooklyn. He is also quiet for the most part, but will bark to communicate his needs.
Parker is working on his house training and is doing great with a regular routine. He’s still learning about potty breaks outside but is starting to get the hang of it. Parker enjoys naps and playtime equally. He loves all types of toys and will happily entertain himself (or you!) for hours. He is also eager to receive lots of kisses, pets, and cuddles.
If you are looking for a sweet, smart, loving pup, Parker could be the dog for you!
Parker is currently being fostered in Brooklyn, NY. His adoption fee is $500.
To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt
All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
