Meet one of NYC's most eligible bachelors and very distinguished gentleman, Kari! Kari is a 10-year-old chihuahua weighing 9 pounds. In typical chihuahua fashion, Kari loves nothing more than being with his people. This pocked-sized pal prefers to spend his days in a lap getting endless pets. Kari is noted to be a good walker and fully house trained. Like any good bachelor, Kari is quite smooth! He walks past and greets other dogs with ease, always leaving his admirers wanting more! Meet the Pet

The best way to meet our pups is via private meetings or at adoption events. We host these weekly at various locations around NYC.

Our adoption fee ranges from $275-$550 and covers the costs of vetting, boarding, transportation, and other necessary items for our dogs.

Hearts & Bones Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based rescue with dual bases in New York City, NY and Dallas, TX. We are dedicated to ending the needless euthanasia of shelter dogs through direct lifesaving, shared learning, and community building. Our incredible network of rescue partners, fosters, volunteers, and a small but mighty staff work together to save dogs in the areas where shelters are under the greatest stress, and unite them with loving adopters ready to give them the lives they deserve.
