He’s a smart cookie too! Buddy knows several commands, is housetrained, and highly food-motivated (perfect for training!). He’s good with some dogs as long as they respect his space and doesn’t show much interest in cats.
Buddy has been thriving with his foster family, even without a fenced yard, but he dreams of having a yard to call his own—a cozy place to relax and enjoy his golden years.

Buddy came into rescue after spending nearly 8 months in a small, rural shelter in Missouri. His owner had been incarcerated and no one came for him.
Buddy is a male Great Dane/Plott Hound who was was born approximately 12-16-18 and weighs 91 lbs. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested heartworm negative and started on heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
