Meet Sesame!

Sesame is the sweetest, most affectionate little furball bursting with joy. This spunky, silly girl will keep you smiling with her playful antics and melt your heart with her love of cuddles—she’s happiest when she’s by your side.

Sesame adores playtime and is always up for an adventure. She’s figuring out the rules of tug-o-war and loves chasing balls, even if she’s still perfecting her retriever skills. Since she doesn’t have all her vaccinations yet, she’s been practicing walking on a leash indoors and is already working on basic commands like “sit” and “come.” She’s not a pro just yet, but her love of treats makes training a fun and rewarding experience for both of you!

Once your application is submitted and approved for the dog you are interested in, someone will call you to start the adoption process

ADOPTION FEE*: Fees vary due to costs put into them, but START at $400 for adults and $500 for puppies.

The adoption fee is for the adoption of the pet. We make sure that our animals are or will be spayed/neutered, receive the proper vaccines and are microchipped and we cover the cost for that if it's not already done before you adopt.

More about this rescue

A Wish for Animals is an all volunteer run organization trying to help as many homeless animals as possible. We work tirelessly to help these animals become adoptable and work hard to find the them the right match so that you can enjoy your pet for the rest of its' life.

During Covid we have been inundated with applications, so please be patient with us as we all work full time as well and are doing our best to care for our animals and find the right homes for them.
