Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Potato Salad, but you can call me Spud if you want—I think it’s pretty cute! I’m a young tabby kitten with soft, stripy fur and big eyes that are always looking for my next adventure. My siblings and I were found all on our own, but some kind humans took us in and said they’d help us find forever homes. Maybe that could be with you?

I’m a mix of silly and sweet. I LOVE to play—feather toys, little balls, or even a crumpled piece of paper are the best things ever. After I’m done zooming around, I like to curl up for a cozy nap, preferably in a warm lap or on a soft blanket. My purr? It’s loud and proud, and I use it to let you know just how much I love you.

I’d be so happy in a home with other cats, kids, or just anyone who’s ready to play and cuddle. Could you be my family? I’ll be your loyal little Spud, always ready to bring fun and love into your life!

All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.

ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location.

Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. We understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
