My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We are so excited to introduce our friend Diesel!

Diesel is the biggest goofiest love bug we've ever met. He always has a huge smile on his face and ready to get all the affection from his friends.
While Diesel is only two years old, his legs identify as those of a twelve year old pup. Our medical team strongly believes this is just due to genetics. During the adoption process, our medical director will go through just what this means for Diesel and what exactly he will need to live a happy comfortable life!

Additional adoption info

Matchmaking is what we love to do. We do our very best to find the best fit for the pets awaiting adoption at the Rhode Island SPCA. The first step to adopting a dog from the Rhode Island SPCA is filling out an adoption application. If your application is selected, you will be contacted and asked if you would like to schedule a meet & greet. Because of the volume of applications we receive, sometimes we can only respond to the selected applicant. You are always welcome to contact us anytime about the status of your application at adoption@rispca.com.
