My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact the Cat Team (catapplications@graspinc.org) for more information about this pet.

DOB:  01/03/24

Birdy is a neighborhood kitty who was trapped as the weather got colder. It was noticed that he was very skinny (and lurking around bird feeders, stalking the birds). He ended up being incredibly friendly and received his namesake from the birds he was 'observing'.

Birdy rubs his head on everything! He loves to chase after his toys and has also learned to pass a ball back and forth with his foster human. He enjoys a toy that dispenses treats which he quickly learned how to work. He is obsessed with the red dot which is a great tool to give him additional exercise.

When you greet Birdy, he will acknowledge you with a cooing sound. He is an affectionate and personable kitty and is ready for his forever home.

More about this rescue

G.R.A.S.P. stands for Greece Residents Assisting Stray Pets. GRASP's goal is to give animals, primarily those picked up by Greece Animal Control, a second chance for a safe, happy, and healthy life. Before G.R.A.S.P., Inc. was formed, animals that were not claimed by their owners were routinely euthanized. We also strive to educate the public on the benefits of spay/neuter and the need to tag their pets at all times. G.R.A.S.P., Inc. is a non-profit organization and is completely dependent upon donations from the public.
