Meet Snowflake! This sweet, shy girl is on a journey to find her forever home, and she’s making wonderful strides every day. When Snowflake first came to the shelter, she was understandably shut down, but once we discovered her love for squeaky balls, she started to show us just how fun and playful she can be. Snowflake can play fetch for hours and is amazing at entertaining herself—she’ll throw the ball around and run all over the yard in a game of chase!
Snowflake has a special friend named Puddin, and while they’re not a bonded pair, they make a fantastic duo! Snowflake seems to gain a lot of confidence and pep in her step from Puddin, and they get along great. If you’re looking to adopt two dogs, these two would be an ideal pair. However, if you already have a dog at home, it’s important to bring them along to meet Snowflake to make sure they’re a good match.
Although Snowflake still has some work to do, especially when it comes to walking on a leash (she prefers to be carried like the princess she is!), she’s already made incredible progress. With patience and time, she’ll become a confident, loyal companion who will thrive in a calm and gentle environment. Her ideal home would be with someone who understands that dogs like Snowflake need time to trust and feel safe. Once she’s comfortable, Snowflake will melt your heart—she loves to gently crawl into your lap and shower you with sweet kisses.
