My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Clara is an exuberant and full of life girl that is still working on all the good pup things. She`ll need a patient adopter dedicated to continuing her training and that will help her get her puppy zoomies out so she can rest easy at night. A home with older, dog savvy kids would be her ideal environment as sometimes she gets just a little too excited around kids. She`s met some dog friends while here in the shelter, and while she did enjoy playing, sometimes her puppy bounces were just a little too much for the other dog, so bring any potential (super playful) pup siblings with you to see if they`d be a good fit!

The Humane Society of Charlotte believes in working to improve our community by creating new, loving families, and building a world where there are no more homeless and unwanted animals. This is an ongoing process — for every animal we can connect with a new family, another animal in need comes to HSC’s shelter. As a private, 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the HSC relies on the generous support of animal lovers, grants, bequests, and fees for service.

HSC is not affiliated with any other animal welfare organizations and we do not receive government funding.
