Chuchu is a 3.5-year-old terrier mix who was transferred to us from SF Animal Care and Control. He may be a little shy when you first meet him, but once he’s comfortable, he’s a lovable lapdog who will melt your heart. While he’s curious about new people, he prefers to take his time and approach things at his own pace. With a little patience, he becomes a calm, sweet companion who enjoys snuggling up and spending time with his favorite humans.

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
