You call out "Psss, psss, psss," and Bojangles comes a runnin'! This hot stuff is Bojangles, and he knows it! He was discovered by his foster parent's neighbor outside. When they realized how friendly he was, they contacted LCCR to see if we could take him in to find a home. After one meeting, we knew he was meant for a loving family! Those beautiful golden eyes tell a thousand tales and give even more love than you could possibly imagine!
Bojangles is a couple of health conditions, but he's a trooper when it comes to care! When he brought into the rescue, he was tested for FIV, and unfortunately, the results came back positive. What does that mean? FIV stands for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. Similar to its human counterpart, it causes the cat's immune system to be compromised, making it much easier for bacteria, viruses, and other every day contaminants to make the kitty sick. Most kitties would be able to fight off these typical infections normally, but kitties like Bojangles have a tougher time. Don't worry though! Bojangles can live a long, happy life! Though we believe he would do better as an only kitty!
The other condition he suffers from is crystals. It can make it painful for him to go potty. To combat this, he will require C/D urinary food for the rest of his life. It keeps him in tip-top shape and regular. It may seem like a lot, but believe us, he makes it a breeze!
Though he may suffer from these two conditions, Bojangles doesn't let it keep him down! He's a lover in every sense of the word, and it's hard not to smile whenever he enters the room. If there's one thing this boy loves, it's attention and giving attention! When you "psss" for him, he will come to you! We weren't joking about that! He's a flopper, rolling over on his back just so you can give him belly rubs! He'll even cook you up a batch of his homemade biscuits while you give him some much-needed lovin'! If you really want to see a show, give this fella some catnip and enjoy the entertainment!
Bojangles' adoption donation will be covered by his foster parent and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter.
