My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tay Tay – A Sweet Brindle Puppy Ready for Her Forever Family!  Tay Tay is an adorable 3-month-old female Hound/Boxer mix who’s as charming as she is beautiful. This 13-pound brindle Hound/Boxer mix girl may start out shy, but her loving nature quickly shines through once she feels safe and loved. Tay Tay is one of four puppies rescued from a hoarding and neglect case in a small Tennessee town. She’s ready to leave her tough past behind and grow up with a family who will cherish her!  About Tay Tay:

Age &  Weight: 3 months  (Born around Oct. 18thBreed: Hound/Boxer mix

Weight: 13 lbs now; estimated to grow to 45 lbs
Personality: Shy but warms up quickly, loving, and playful

Why Tay Tay Is Special:  Playful and Friendly: Tay Tay loves playing with household cats and dogs and gets excited when the neighborhood kids come over to join in the fun.
Training in Progress: She’s working on leash training and potty training and is already open-pen and crate trained. With her smart and eager-to-please nature, she’ll continue to thrive in a consistent, loving home.
Gentle and Loving: Though she’s shy at first, Tay Tay’s sweet heart shines through when she gets to know you.

What Tay Tay Needs:  A patient and loving home to help her gain confidence and continue her training.
A family who will shower her with affection and give her plenty of playtime and cuddles.

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?
